Vitax 500ml Winter Tree Wash Vitax Winter tree wash is a blend of natural plant and fish oils for controlling over-wintering insect pests on fruit trees and bushes during the dormant season. Suitable for edible and ornamental crops, it works by purely physical means and is suitable for organic gardening. Winter Tree Wash controls the eggs, larvae and nymphs of greenfly, blackfly and whitefly, and other over-wintering insect pests on most fruit trees and bushes including apples, pears, plums, cherries, gooseberries, blackberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants. It is also suitable for use on vines under glass. For best results apply during calm dry conditions in the dormant period (November through to February). Mix 50ml per litre of water and apply as a fine spray, thoroughly covering all bark surfaces and crooks of branches and stems.
